Historical Medicine Park, Oklahoma, is quickly becoming a popular private event destination.  The natural scenic beauty nestled in the foothills of the Wichita Mountains and alongside Medicine Creek is the perfect backdrop for your next memorable event.

The Town of Medicine Park has many options available to accommodate events ranging from small and intimate to large and elaborate.  Medicine Park offers plenty of lodging, shopping, restaurants, and fun activities for guests and visitors.

Medicine Park Event Center

Located at 19001 Hwy 49, Medicine Park, OK 73557.

Amenities:

  • Half or full day rentals with discounted pricing for Mon-Thurs events (see agreement form for pricing).
  • Included with rental of venue: Nine 8-foot long tables, two 6-foot long tables, seven 5-foot round tables, two curved tables, one small rectangular table, and 114 chairs. However, the space accommodates up to 150 guests if you provide additional tables and chairs.
  • Linen rental available for all tables and chairs.
  • Sound system rental available.
  • 2,262 sq. ft. main room.
  • Outdoor patio furniture seating for 30 guests.
  • Outdoor area perfect for ceremonies or cookouts; no extra fee!
  • Full commercial kitchen.

 

Other Important Information:

  • You provide your own decorations and food.
  • No restrictions on alcohol.
  • Located at the edge of town with a large, private parking area.
  • Reservation and agreement contract are required with refundable deposit. You must have a Medicine Park address (73557) to be eligible for Resident Pricing.
  • Perfect for weddings, receptions, birthday parties, showers, reunions, business meetings, or any other special event.

Bath Lake Island

  • There is limited space on the island, making it perfect for a wedding party and their immediate family.
  • Guests can sit on landscape benches on either side of the bridge or stand.
  • Electricity is provided for sound equipment and lighting (equipment not provided).
  • Decorations and fixtures may be set up immediately before the ceremony; however, the town assumes no responsibility for these items. These items must be removed from the island following the ceremony.
  • Reservations and Special Use Permit are required. Permit must be paid to reserve date.
  • Reservation time is limited to 4 hours.
  • Must give 30 day cancellation notice to receive refund on permit. No refund given due to inclement weather.

Bath Lake Lawn

  • Must provide own seating for guests.

  • Reservations and Special Use Permit are required. Permit must be paid to reserve date.

Bath Lake – West Side

  • Parking is available on the East side of Bath Lake; walk across Curtis Davis bridge to arrive at the venue.
  • No Parking on West Lake Drive (residential).
  • Must provide own seating for guests.
  • Electricity is provided for sound equipment and lighting (equipment not provided).
  • Decorations and fixtures may be set up immediately before the ceremony; however, the town assumes no responsibility for these items. These items must be removed from the area following the ceremony and pictures.
  • Reservations and Special Use Permit are required. Permit must be paid to reserve date.
  • Must give 30 cancellation notice to receive a refund. No refund give due to inclement weather.

Jack Laughter Park

  • Must provide own seating for guests.

  • Reservations and Special Use Permit are required.
  • No refunds on permit due to inclement weather.

Hitchin’ Post Park

  • No Parking in front of park entrance or alongside road.
  • Must provide own seating for guests.
  • Decorations and fixtures may be set up immediately before the ceremony; however, the town assumes no responsibility for these items. These items must be removed from the island following the ceremony and pictures.
  • Reservations and Special Use Permit are required. Permit must be paid to reserve date.
  • Reservation is limited to 4 hours.

Medicine Park Music Hall

Medicine Park Music Hall is a music hall and event center adjacent to Medicine Creek.  The music hall holds up to 250 people and you are able to rent the hall with or without catering.  To schedule your wedding, reunion, seminar, or special occasion, give them a call at the number below.
